How the Maryland General Assembly Works
The AGC recently sponsored a meeting about legislative issues and how something progresses from an idea to a law in the Maryland General Assembly. The topic of how to effectively influence legislators regarding the passage or opposition to bills was also discussed in detail. Monthly AGC Meetings
The monthly AGC Trustees meeting is held on the first Tuesday each month in the Upper Barnes House at the Barnes Range. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. Here are the dates of the 2009 meetings:

- April 7
- May 5
- June 2
- July 7
- August 4
- September 1
- October 6
- November 4
- December 1
If you would like to attend any of these meetings, all you have to do is to show up at the Upper Barnes House with your AGC range badge. Although no seating is assigned, Arlington officers usually sit at the second table in from the from door, on the right side of the room.
